REFUND

policies

GENERAL

Effective as of 01/01/23.

At dot JPG Designs, every project and piece of art is created with care, strategy, and intention. Our studio is committed to maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction while upholding the creative integrity of our work. The policies outlined below are designed to protect both our clients and the creative process.

By purchasing from or booking services with Dot JPG Designs, you agree to the following refund policy.

INTRO

Due to the custom and creative nature of all offerings, all sales are final. Refunds are not granted except in the case of extenuating circumstances, which are determined solely at the discretion of the lead designer. Clients and customers waive all rights to request or demand a refund at the time of purchase.

We understand that projects are personal, and the creative process is collaborative. The designer will make every reasonable effort to maintain satisfaction throughout the project and ensure all agreed-upon deliverables are met in good faith.

ARTWORK PURCHASES (ORIGINALS & PRINTS)

  • All artwork sales are final and non-refundable once payment is completed.

  • In the event of damage during shipping, clients must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic documentation. A replacement or store credit may be issued at the sole discretion of the studio.

  • Please note: minor variations in color or texture due to screen calibration, printing, or natural materials are not considered defects.

DESIGN PURCHASES (COMISSIONS, TATTOO DESIGN, PORTRAITURE, ETC.)

  • All custom design purchases are non-refundable once the initial concept work has begun.

  • Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Revisions, when included, are limited to the scope outlined in the client agreement. Additional revisions may incur an added fee.

  • Final files are not delivered until the full balance has been paid.

WEBSITE DESIGN COMMISSIONS

  • Website design projects require a non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.

  • Once a project has started, no refunds will be issued, regardless of project stage.

  • Clients are responsible for timely feedback and content delivery. Failure to provide assets or communication within the agreed project timeline may result in forfeiture of the project slot and deposit.

  • Delays or dissatisfaction due to incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed client communication do not constitute grounds for a refund.

EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES

In rare and exceptional cases, a refund or partial refund may be considered. This will be reviewed and granted solely at the discretion of the lead designer. If a refund is issued, it may be prorated based on work already completed, time invested, and administrative costs.

DISCLAIMER

By purchasing services or products from Dot JPG Designs, you acknowledge that you are commissioning creative work that is subjective by nature. You waive all rights to request a refund except in cases explicitly granted in writing by the designer. Disputes initiated through third-party payment processors (e.g., chargebacks) may result in termination of all services and revocation of design usage rights.

Dot JPG Designs reserves the right to refuse future service to any individual who violates this policy or engages in abusive, disrespectful, or dishonest behavior.
